Clinical Social Worker/Therapist, LCSW

I am a clinical social worker with over thirty years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I have a Master's and Ph.D. from Columbia University and serve in both teaching and supervisory positions at The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.

I have specialized training working with couples and have developed a considerable practice working with both straight and gay couples. My expertise provided the basis for courses I have taught to therapists on “How To Do Couple Therapy.”

I have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with a wide range of issues including depression, interpersonal relationships and struggles with self-esteem.

I also work with college-age students and young adults, and have helped parents deal with problems related to their children's lives.

I am warm and directive in my therapeutic approach. I combine my formal training and experience with an active dialogue with my clients to insure the most effective results.
